"Excelsior" offers a unique sailing experience for today's young and disadvantaged, and anyone else with a spirit of adventure!

"Excelsior" is one of a small number of traditional sailing trawlers in the UK, the only one based on the East Coast and, uniquely, the only sailing trawler that can still trawl with authentic gear.

She was designed to tackle the demands of the North Sea, and thus her performance under sail is comfortable yet quick, very stable and with a spacious deck area. Her deck layout and rig are almost totally authentic - very easy to work.
