Welcome Aboard!
Excelsior is officially one of the 60 most important historic ships in Britain. Now lovingly restored to her original 1921 condition, she provides adventure and excitement at sea for our supporters and for (disadvantaged) young people. We invite you to join us in celebrating 25 years of The Excelsior Trust, in sailing our fine ship, and in exploring the past and future of sailing on the East Coast.
The new look Excelsior Trust website features:
• an on-line museum of the ship and maritime heritage in general, with articles, photographs, audio clips, videos and other educational resources
• the latest news from on board, including extracts from the ship's log, accounts of recent voyages, and details about how YOU can sail on her
• a meeting place for supporters - objectives of the trust, how to join, benefits of joining, and news of sailing and social events
• an interactive Nautical Almanac, full of useful, up-to-date information for today's sailors - whatever their craft - with hyperlinks to Google Earth
